Animals on Film produces educational programs for the capture handling and restraint of animals. The programs cover such topics as techniques, equipment, safety considerations and traps. Where relevent, sections on zoonotic risks and veterinary procedures are included.

The significant achievements of the Pest Animal Control Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) has provided a strong foundation on which the Invasive Animal CRC can build a confident, balanced and comprehensive research portfolio. The Invasive Animal CRC will be an exciting venture that aims to counteract the impact of invasive animals through the development and application of new technologies and by integrating approaches across agencies and jurisdictions.

The AB-CRC was launched in 2003. Our aim is to protect Australia's public health, livestock, wildlife and economic resources from emerging infectious diseases. We will achieve this through research and education that strengthens the national capability to detect, identify, monitor, assess, predict and respond to emerging infectious disease threats such as avian influenza, SARS and foot-and-mouth disease.
